The Kenyan Way

If you are training for this year’s Chicago Marathon you have come to the right place! The Kenyan Way provides group, supported long runs with fluid stops every 2 miles, pace groups with goal times of 5:00, 4:45, 4:30, 4:15, 4:00, 3:45, 3:30, 3:15, 3:00, and an interactive training schedule specifically designed for your exact level of fitness.

Depending on when you decide to start training for Chicago you have a choice of programs to join. We have our Fall Marathon Training Program which starts in early May. This provides a Saturday Long run with fluids every 2-3 miles. A weekly training schedule is provided for your exact level of fitness. We also have starting dates in June, July and August at reduce prices.

Our two summer training programs Beat the Heat and Kenyan Nights begin in early May. These 12 week programs provide three supervised workouts per week including the important Saturday long run.You will be provided with a Chicago specific training schedule.

Our Chevron Marathon Training Program begins August 14, 2010 and will include everything you need to train for Chicago. We will have pace groups, supported long runs, maps of running routes, seminars, instruction videos and access to Sean Wade via email for all your questions.

If you want to try us out, just come out to any of our workouts and take advantage of our $5 drop in rate. We have supported Saturday long runs year round.
