Fall Programs

2017 Fall Marathon and Half Marathon (Saturdays Only)
Starts August 5th 2017
Ends January 2018
Our Marathon Training Program meets Saturday mornings at 6am and is suitable for runners of all abilities. If you can jog 3 miles (at any pace) without stopping then you are fit enough to start training with us. We provide water and Gatorade every 2-3 miles and a small direction sheet to guide you on the run.
We have pace groups ranging from sub 3hrs through to 5hrs and we have training schedules in which the longest run you do in training is 18, 20, 22 or 24 miles.
You get to choose which schedule is best suited to you. You will be instructed how far to run or not run on each day of the week.
Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon Training Also Chicago, New York, Marine Corp, Dallas, Austin, St George, San Antonio or any other marathon.

Monday Hills, Wednesday/Thursday Speed and Saturday Long Runs
Starts Monday August 7th, 2017 - Houston Marathon 2018
Monday Hill Training - You should be warmed up and ready for the group starts at 5:20am (warm up drills 5:10am)
Wednesday or Thursday Speed Workouts on your own - instructions via email each Tuesday
Saturday 6am supported Long Run (iced water & gatorade every 2 miles on supported course)
Monday workouts and Long Run meet at Jackson Hill Baseball Field.
Customized training schedules provided for 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon.
Suitable for runners of all abilities. You should be able to comfortably jog 3 miles (at any pace) before joining this program
